Collection: Jaclyn Mottola
Jaclyn is a visual artist based in NYC.
Her paintings explore abstraction through the use of color, balanced compositions, and layered texture. Her work and process are driven by the search for simplicity in her surrounding environment specifically drawing inspiration in color and form from architecture.
Jaclyn challenges the concept of complexity and aims to build subtle compositions that create intense interest and an unexpected sense of harmony and comfort.
She has shown in a variety of exhibitions throughout the US, including, Pyramid Atlantic (Silver Spring, MD), Arts Westchester, (White Plains, NY), Washington Project for the Arts, (Washington DC) and Greenpoint Gallery, (Brooklyn, NYC). She currently works out of Brooklyn, NYC.
